Blue Lagoon Mocktails

It doesn't really have to be 5 o'clock.
I think I have officially entered "hostess with the mostest" mode because I can't seem to stop experimenting with mocktail concoctions. Since I have a lot of friends and family that don't drink alcoholic beverages, I don't like for anyone to feel uncomfortable or "left out" because their only alternative is canned soda or water. So to even out the playing field, I've been experimenting with different drink combos that give amazing flavor and a refreshing taste, plus they look "grown up." During this process, I accidentally created what call the Blue Lagoon Mocktail.

Since we don't drink a lot of juice, I used the individual powder sticks which are perfect when I want a quick single serve mocktail to sit and sip at my new patio bar, because I don't need to add any sugar. I think it would be a great mini bar idea to use the individual packets for more intimate gatherings so your guests can mix their own, but you can definitely buy the gigantic pre-made containers for larger parties (or for yourself if you really just like it that much).

If you want to get bonus points for being fancy-for-no-reason, serve the beverage in a fancy drinking glass and put sugar on the rim for effect. Now keep in mind that you can totally spike your mocktail to make it the real thing with rum or vodka, but that's totally up to you.
